Mongo Magazine is a skate mag for individuals who don’t feel represented by the typical skater archetype. They can look to this magazine for inspiration to remind them to keep pushing, even when it gets tough. The particular issue created was the inclusion issue. All illustrations and images are original. The logo was created with hand drawn type, which perfectly fits the out of the box identity of this magazine. Every spread was carefully created to reflect the magazines value of representing all identities. The combination of strong values with the gritty world of skateboarding created a fun juxtaposition that can be seen all throughout the piece.
